Ultra's patented HoloKote ensures cards cannot be cloned. This special feature automatically prints a high security watermark into the overcoat panel during the print cycle without incurring extra consumables costs. With the Rio 2e, the HoloKote pattern can be customized to your logo and text.

HoloPatch works with HoloKote to produce a highly visible gold seal on the card, printed using special card stock.

Card Security

Available only with Magicard printers, our unique patented HoloKote and HoloPatch features place visible security onto your cards.

The patented Magicard HoloKote anti forgery card protection eliminates the threat from fake IDs. HoloKote is an anti copying watermark printed across the entire card surface. When the card is viewed at an angle, the HoloKote watermark provides visual authentication. There is no additional cost involved in printing HoloKote cards.

When used with the optional Magicard HoloPatch card stock, one of the HoloKote logos is highlighted by a highly reflective gold (super diffuser) patch, making the logo clearly visible under all lighting conditions. HoloKote with HoloPatch has a similar appearance to credit card hologram seals.

For the highest security, order your printer with a Custom HoloKote key. This secure memory card stores a custom logo and plugs into a dedicated port on the Magicard printer. When the Custom Key is connected, the stored logo is printed as a watermark in the protective coating during the print cycle. You provide us with your logo design, and we program it into a Custom Key.

We are so confident of the quality and robustness of our Professional printers, that we offer a full two year UltraCoverPlus warranty in North America, the EU, and selected other countries.

UltraCoverPlus reduces printer downtime by providing a free loan unit until the repaired item has been returned.

Provide where necessary a loan unit to replace a printer returned for repair.
