Magicard ID badge making software with card design and database facilities.

The patented Magicard HoloKoteÿis an anti copying watermark printed across the entire card surface. The Opera printer includes a free waves pattern Holokote watermark. The transparent design becomes visible when the card is viewed at an angle. There is no additional cost involved in printing HoloKote cards.

HoloPatch works with HoloKote to produce a highly-visible gold seal on the card, printed using special card stock.

High quality 300dpi images, with true colors, right to the edge of the card.

Opera FAQs

How do I keep the Opera printer running smoothly?
For optimum performance and high quality printing, the manufacturer recommends a regular cleaning cycle using Magicard cleaning cards, available through our resellers. For best results use a cleaning card after every 100 cards are printed.

What is HoloKote & how do I use it?
This is a security feature only offered with Magicard printers, allowing the user to print a transparent watermark into the clear overcoat on the card. The watermark is only seen when the card is viewed from an angle. With the Opera printer, the watermark image is a fixed design pattern.

What is HoloPatch and how do I use it?
HoloPatch is a special cardstock option which includes a metallic patch in one corner of the card to highlight one area of the HoloKote security pattern for enhanced visibility.
