The Definition of a Badge Reel is...
Badge Reels have a hard case shell that houses a retractable spring and nylon or steel cord. On the back of the hard case it has either a slide or Bulldog clip or it has a Carabiner clip that is located at the top of the reel. Some styles have a lanyard attached so that you can wear the reel around your neck . End fittings are attached to the end of cord to hold access control cards, ID Badges or Keys.
