Right out of the box, the DTC400e system produces durable IDs with enhanced full-color printing on both conventional and thin (9 mil) plastic cards. The system includes a single-sided Fargo DTC400e Printer/Encoder with LCD control panel, Asure ID Express photo ID software, USB digital camera, supplies and a two-year warranty. Starting with this basic system, you can add options and accessories that configure your DTC400e system for a wide range of applications. The optional dual-sided printing module lets you print additional information
such as a bar code or digital signature on the card back. Optional encoding modules for smart cards, proximity cards and magnetic stripe cards give the DTC400e the ability to produce cards for access control systems.

The Fargo DTC400e prints on several different types of ID cards: the thin, flexible cards used for health care and transit systems; clamshell proximity cards; smart cards with embedded electronics; and even rewritable cards than help eliminate the waste of use-and-toss visitor badges and student IDs. Working with the DTC400e couldn't be easier. Its easy-loading, all-in-one ribbon cartridge saves time and eliminates the mess and expense of torn, wasted ribbons. Just remove the old cartridge, slide in the new one and you've changed both the printer ribbon and card cleaning roller in one simple step.

1. Fargo DTC400e Card Printer/Encoder. Single-sided, edge-to-edge card printing. Full-color, continuous-tone printing at 300 dpi (11.8 dots/mm). Capable of rewritable card printing (monochrome only) on HID rewritable card stock. Includes LCD control panel. Can be field-upgraded to dual-sided printing; smart card, proximity and magnetic stripe encoding.
2. Asure ID© Express ID card design and production software. Powerful, yet easy-to-use photo ID card software with advanced card design and batch printing capabilities. The DTC400e system also comes with InPhoto Capture camera
software and Workbench, a software toolkit for set up, printer diagnostics and firmware upgrades. (Computer display
not included.)
3. USB digital camera. This camera makes capturing cardholder photos quick and easy. (Tripod not included, but available as an accessory.)
4. Full-color ribbon cartridge for printing 250 card images. (YMCKO with cleaning roller.)
5. 300 UltraCard PVC cards.
6. USB 2.0 cable for connecting the DTC400e printer/encoder to your computer.
